Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Julian developed an early affinity for electronic music in the cutting-edge clubs of his home city. An education in Computer Science brought him to the USA where he has resided since, finding success in the field while keeping a strong connection to music through informal DJing and many years as a Burning Man contributor and Pongo Lounge resident DJ. 2018 brought music as his full-time focus, and his Hools project bloomed into regular club appearances in San Francisco, festival sets, radioshows, and acclaimed studio mixes. Having quickly developed an international following for his signature sound – uplifting, melodic & progressive, Hools prides himself on capturing emotion in his music, taking his listeners on beautiful journeys of sonic & rhythmic bliss.
